Converting a fraction into a decimal is really simple becaus eyou are just converting from one term to another.
So the first thing we need is a fraction so let's take the fraction 7/10 and now to convert this fraction into a decimal you have to put it in proper form like this:

Now we have to divide the 7 with 10 using the zeros and decimal point like this:

 7 

10

      __.7__      = 10 x 7=70

 10/  70

      - 70

          0

So now we know that to convert any fraction into a decimal number you will have to divide the numerator by the denominator.
