The multiples of a number are actually the times tables of the numbers.
The multiples are the numbers you use to find the LCM of numbers as well.
So if we take the number 2, to find the multiples you will have to multiply the number 2 by the numbers 1 to 10 (and further) like this:
The multiples are the numbers you use to find the LCM of numbers as well.
So if we take the number 2, to find the multiples you will have to multiply the number 2 by the numbers 1 to 10 (and further) like this:
2 x 1= 2
2 x 2= 4
2 x 3= 6
2 x 4= 8
2 x 5= 10
2 x 6= 12
2 x 7= 14
2 x 8= 16
2 x 9= 18
2 x 10= 20
So the multiples of 2 are:
2= 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20
