Multiply Two Fractions

Introduction

Multiplying two fractions is just like normal multiplication, except this topic just includes fractions. In order to multiply two fractions together use direct multiplication. Keep in mind that you do not need to change to the denominators in multiplication. So, it's just multiplication and you get your product!

Try It...

Let's say that you have 2/9x8/17. All you do is multiply 2x8=16 and 9x17=153. That means that the product of 2/9x8/17=16/153.
Wasn't that a piece of pie?!
